Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival → Kelaniya
- Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your CeyWays representative.
- Visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka.
- Evening religious blessings and temple visit.
Day 2 – Kelaniya → Anuradhapura
- Travel to the ancient city of Anuradhapura.
- Visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the sacred Bodhi Tree.
- Explore Ruwanwelisaya, Jetavanaramaya, and Abhayagiri stupas.
Day 3 – Anuradhapura Pilgrimage
- Morning worship and temple visits.
- Explore ancient monasteries and sacred sites.
- Learn about the history of early Buddhist civilization.
Day 4 – Anuradhapura → Dambulla → Somawathiya
- Visit Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Travel to Somawathiya Chaithya and offer prayers.
Day 5 – Somawathiya → Polonnaruwa → Seruwila
- Visit ancient Polonnaruwa sacred sites including Gal Vihara Buddha statues.
- Continue to Seruwila Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya.
Day 6 – Seruwila → Kataragama → Kandy
- Visit Kataragama sacred temple and Kiri Vehera Stupa.
- Travel to Kandy.
- Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Day 7 – Kandy → Colombo → Departure
- Travel to Colombo.
- Short city tour and transfer to airport for departure.
