Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Negombo
- Arrival at the international airport and transfer to Negombo.
- Visit Negombo lagoon and traditional fishing boats.
- Explore the local fish market and Dutch Canal area.
- Evening walk along Negombo Beach.
Day 2 – Negombo → Bentota
- Travel to Bentota along the west coast.
- Bentota River safari through mangrove forests.
- Visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.
- Optional water sports such as jet skiing, windsurfing, or parasailing.
Day 3 – Bentota → Hikkaduwa
- Drive to Hikkaduwa.
- Snorkeling over coral reefs.
- Visit Hikkaduwa Marine Sanctuary.
- Relax at beachside cafés and enjoy sunset views.
Day 4 – Hikkaduwa → Galle / Unawatuna
- Visit the historic Galle Fort.
- Explore Dutch colonial streets and lighthouse.
- Relax at Unawatuna beach.
- Optional snorkeling or diving.
Day 5 – Unawatuna → Ahangama
- Drive to Ahangama.
- Watch traditional stilt fishermen.
- Optional surfing lesson.
- Relax at boutique beach cafés.
Day 6 – Ahangama → Mirissa
- Travel to Mirissa.
- Visit Coconut Tree Hill viewpoint.
- Relax on Mirissa beach.
- Optional sunset cruise.
Day 7 – Mirissa → Tangalle / Hiriketiya
- Drive to Tangalle and Hiriketiya Bay.
- Surfing or swimming in the bay.
- Explore hidden beaches.
- Sunset photography.
Day 8 – Tangalle → Yala National Park
- Travel to Yala National Park.
- Afternoon jeep safari in the park.
- Wildlife spotting including elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and birds.
Day 9 – Yala → Ella
- Drive to the hill country town of Ella.
- Visit Ravana Falls.
- Hike to Little Adam’s Peak.
- Explore Nine Arches Bridge.
Day 10 – Ella → Kandy
- Scenic drive through tea plantations.
- Visit a tea factory and plantation.
- Evening cultural dance performance.
- Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Day 11 – Kandy → Negombo
- Visit spice gardens in Matale.
- Optional shopping in Colombo.
- Relaxing evening in Negombo.
Day 12 – Departure
- Transfer to the airport for departure.
