Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Negombo
- Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your CeyWays representative.
- Transfer to Negombo beach town.
- Visit Negombo fish market and Dutch Canal.
- Relax on Negombo beach and enjoy sunset views.
Day 2 – Negombo → Dambulla
- Travel to the Cultural Triangle region.
- Visit Dambulla Cave Temple complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Explore ancient cave shrines with Buddha statues and murals.
Day 3 – Dambulla → Ritigala & Village Experience
- Visit Ritigala Forest Monastery ruins located within a protected nature reserve.
- Guided walk through ancient monastic structures and forest paths.
- Village tour in Hiriwadunna including bullock cart ride.
- Traditional Sri Lankan lunch in a village house.
Day 4 – Dambulla → Anuradhapura
- Travel to the ancient capital city of Anuradhapura.
- Visit sacred Bodhi Tree (Sri Maha Bodhi).
- Explore Ruwanwelisaya, Abhayagiri, and Jetavanaramaya stupas.
- Discover ancient reservoirs and archaeological ruins.
Day 5 – Anuradhapura → Polonnaruwa
- Drive to the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa.
- Guided tour of ancient royal palace complex.
- Visit Gal Vihara rock Buddha statues.
- Explore Parakrama Samudra reservoir.
Day 6 – Polonnaruwa → Pinnawala → Kandy
- Travel towards Kandy.

- Continue to Kandy and explore the city.
- Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Day 7 – Kandy Cultural Experience
- Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
- Explore Kandy Lake and local markets.
- Evening traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance.
Day 8 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
- Scenic drive through tea plantations.
- Visit tea factory and plantation.
- Explore colonial town of Nuwara Eliya.
Day 9 – Nuwara Eliya → Ella
- Travel through hill country landscapes.
- Visit waterfalls along the route.
- Explore Nine Arches Bridge.
- Hike Little Adam’s Peak.
Day 10 – Ella → Colombo
- Drive back towards Colombo.
- Optional stops at scenic viewpoints.
- Colombo city tour including Galle Face Green and Independence Square.
Day 11 – Departure
- Transfer to the airport for departure.
